Under Construction

“For a long time, photography has been my way of staying connected — to people I care about, to ideas that need more than one mind. I’ve built with others, shared the vision, split decisions on outfits, studios, sets, even final selects.

From that, I’ve made some of my favorite images. Ones that genuinely mean something to me.

But somewhere along the way, I lost a bit of the art. I leaned into what looked good, what felt easy. And while beautiful, those choices weren’t always rooted.

Sometimes, collaboration means compromise — that’s not a flaw, that’s the nature of it. You give a little. You merge ideas. You lose the edge of a complete thought, and sometimes that’s the price of building together.

But I miss the ideas that cut deeper. Shoots that held weight. Moments and images with any amount of depth. So now, I’m resetting.

I want to move with intention again. Not just images that are visually strong — but ones that hold meaning.

That either move you...
or move me first.”
